Portrait Gallery

Bella has been drawing faces a lot lately and we commissioned her to do a series of portraits of family members. Look closely to find your picture. In these collected works you can see fundamental aspects of your own personality that perhaps you keep hidden clearly set forth and sometimes exaggerated for emphasis.

Heavy Stuff

Here the artist explores the Crack in her Cosmic Egg. Joseph Chilton Pearce watch out! It is clear that here she transcends the constraints of her ego-grid and directly percieves the reality that is both within and, paradoxically, without.
This peice boldly expresses the notion that the putative dichotomy of being and not-being is merely a product of the conceptual mind and is therefore false, since all concepts are false. The artist has succeeded, with a minimum of pencil strokes, in at once exposing and simultaneously demystifying the discourse underlying the notion of being. Dig it.

Doctors And More

These two, in Bella's new thematic series, "Doctors and Society" are really quite nice. In this one she assumes the role of doctor and juxtaposes this with her role as patient, a salient comment on the power dynamic inherent in today's medical system.
She loves being both doctor and patient lately.

More Pictures From The Gallery

Opa Bob
This is Bella's interpretation of Grandpa Bob. Opa is a common German phrase for grandfather. Can you see the resemblance?

"A Penquin Under Blue"

Would you like to see my paintings?

Bella is always drawing and painting in her "art studio." We had the idea to make a little online gallery so that Bella can share her artwork with family and friends. What I like best about Bella's pictures are the names. After she finishes a painting or drawing, she brings it to me (Rachel) and tells me what the name is...I then have to write the name and date on the bottom of each piece. If we haven't mentioned it before, Bella loves going to the art museum. She stands in front of each piece and talks about it with us...
